Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Hockey Instructor to join our team. Previous playing experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to fostering a positive learning environment. This role involves delivering instruction, engaging students, and supporting their educational growth across various subjects or training programs. The Instructor will play a vital role in inspiring learners and helping them achieve their full potential.

Duties

- Facilitate classroom activities, discussions, and hands-on exercises to enhance understanding
- Assess student progress
- Provide individualized support and mentorship to students as needed
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation
- Ensure all instructional materials are up-to-date and aligned with educational standards
- Track attendance and maintain accurate records of student performance
- Promote a protected, respectful, and motivating atmosphere for all learners

- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts
- Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with students of varying backgrounds
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet different learning needs
- Organizational skills for planning lessons and managing classroom activities effectively

- Prior experience in teaching or training is preferred but not required
- Certification or relevant qualifications in the subject area are a plus
