Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Auto Body Collision Estimator/Repair Planner to join our team, Applicants must have prior experience working with Audatex, Mitchell, or CCC.

this role, you will be the key point of contact for customers and insurance adjusters, providing accurate damage assessments and creating comprehensive repair plans. Your expertise will help streamline the repair process, ensure quality workmanship, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess collision impact and determine repair needs
- Prepare detailed estimates for repairs, including parts, labor, and materials, ensuring accuracy and transparency
- Collaborate with technicians, mechanics, and body shop staff to develop efficient repair plans that meet quality standards
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and costs to foster trust and satisfaction
- Assist customers with insurance claims processes and provide guidance on repair options




- Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or repairs that benefit the customer and the shop’s revenue goals
- Handle cash transactions accurately when necessary, maintaining proper records of payments received

Skills

- Proven dealership experience or background in automotive collision estimation and repair planning
- Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience as a mechanic or in automotive repair environments
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
- Sales-oriented mindset with a focus on upselling complementary services or parts
- Familiarity with automotive estimating software and tools used in collision repair estimation
- Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly while maintaining detailed records
- Knowledge of insurance procedures related to vehicle repairs is a plus
