We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services.

Your responsibilities include assessing customer needs, providing expert guidance on automotive repairs, and ensuring a seamless service experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Previous dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued.

Duties

- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival, establishing a positive rapport.
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues and service requests.
- Explain recommended repairs and maintenance options clearly, ensuring customer understanding.
- Prepare detailed work orders for technicians, including necessary parts and labor estimates.
- Upsell additional services or products that benefit the customer’s vehicle health while maintaining integrity.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently.
- Follow up with customers regarding vehicle status, additional needs,



or future service appointments.
- Maintain organized records of all service activities and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with technicians and parts department to ensure timely completion of services.

Experience

- Previous dealership experience is preferred but not required; relevant mechanic or automotive repair background is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems to effectively communicate with technicians and customers.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information in an understandable manner.
- Experience in sales or upselling automotive services/products to enhance revenue opportunities.
- Cash handling experience ensuring accurate processing of payments.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
