Duties

- Greet customers warmly as they arrive, creating a positive first impression and setting the tone for exceptional service
- Schedule service appointments efficiently, balancing customer needs with shop capacity
- Gather detailed vehicle information to accurately diagnose service requirements and communicate clearly with technicians
- Provide transparent explanations of repair estimates, work orders, and service recommendations to customers
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on mechanical knowledge and customer needs to enhance vehicle performance and safety
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and maintain detailed financial records




- Coordinate with mechanics and parts departments to ensure timely completion of repairs and services

Skills

- Proven dealership experience or background in automotive sales or service advising
- Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience to understand vehicle issues and communicate effectively with technicians
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, skilled demeanor
- Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and trust with clients
- Excellent organizational skills for managing appointments, paperwork, and cash handling
- Effective communication skills to explain technical information clearly to customers of all backgrounds
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes, parts inventory management, and dealership operations
