We are looking for two kind, dependable and experienced caregivers to provide one-to-one care for a young person with complex care needs in our family home.

These are secure, long-term part-time positions with regular weekly shifts. We are looking for caregivers who are gentle, patient, attentive and take pride in providing thoughtful and respectful care.

Position 1 – Weeknight Overnight + Sunday Respite = 24 hours per week

- Tuesday: 9:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Wednesday: 9:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Sunday daytime respite: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Position 2 – Weekend Overnight - 20 hours per week

- Saturday: 9:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Sunday: 9:00 PM–7:00 AM

The overnight shifts are fully awake 10-hour shifts. We are looking for caregivers who can commit reliably to their regular weekly schedule on an ongoing basis.

About the Role

Care includes overnight monitoring, personal care, repositioning, medication support and assistance with established medical-care routines and equipment.

The Sunday daytime respite shift includes personal care, comfort and support with the individual's established daytime routine.

Training will be provided for the individual's specific routines, equipment and care needs. You do not need previous experience with every aspect of the care.

Requirements
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience
- Comfortable working fully awake overnight shifts
- Able to safely assist with transfers and lift approximately 50 lbs when required
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
