Title: AWS Migration + Agentic IT / Solution Architect

Duration : 8-10 Months

Location: Toronto, ON

Work Model: Hybrid – Minimum 2 days on-site per week

Introduction

We are looking for an experienced skilled to support a large-scale Contact Centre transformation initiative. The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on experience in AWS cloud architecture, migration, Amazon Connect, and AI-driven solutions, with the ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-based Contact Centre platforms.

This position requires someone who can lead solution design while remaining technically involved in architecture, integrations, migration planning, and implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

- 8 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or enterprise technology solutions.
- 5 years of hands-on AWS experience, including designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
- Strong experience with AWS migration and cloud modernization projects.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect architecture, configuration, and integrations.
- Experience designing Contact Centre/CCaaS solutions, including IVR, routing, queues, Contact Flows, and customer journeys.
- Strong understanding of AWS services such as:
- AWS Lambda
- API Gateway
- Amazon S3
- DynamoDB
- Amazon CloudWatch
- IAM
- EventBridge
- SNS/SQS

- Experience integrating AWS platforms with enterprise applications using REST APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Understanding of cloud security, scalability, availability, and disaster recovery.
- Experience working with technical teams throughout the solution development and implementation lifecycle.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

- Experience migrating Contact Centre platforms such as Genesys, Cisco, Avaya, NICE, or Five9 to Amazon Connect.




- Experience with AWS infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience integrating Amazon Connect with Salesforce, ServiceNow, or other CRM platforms.
- AWS certifications, particularly Solutions Architect Professional or Associate.
- Previous experience supporting banking or financial services clients.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise transformation programs.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

- Design and implement AWS-based solutions supporting enterprise Contact Centre modernization and migration initiatives.
- Lead the architecture and technical planning for migrations from legacy Contact Centre platforms to Amazon Connect.
- Develop scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud architectures.
- Design and implement Amazon Connect solutions, including Contact Flows, IVR, routing, queues, and omnichannel capabilities.
- Architect integrations between Amazon Connect, AWS services, APIs, CRM platforms, and enterprise applications.
- Design AI-enabled and Agentic AI solutions to improve Contact Centre automation, self-service, and customer experience.
- Explore and implement conversational AI and intelligent automation capabilities using AWS services.
- Support migration planning, technical assessments, cutover strategies, testing, and post-migration stabilization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and technical leads to translate business requirements into architecture and solution designs.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical design documents, integration specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout development, deployment, and production support.
