Responsibilities:

- Strong involvement in the design of server components and development in Java.

- Plan software releases and provide 2nd level support for applications.

- Work with business analysts and stakeholders to interpret business requirements and create system design.

- Develop test cases to thoroughly test the codebase.

- Apply software engineering best practices to produce high-quality applications.

- Take initiative and work productively when unsupervised, multitasking across multiple projects.

Technical Qualification:

- Minimum 10 years of experience with Java development.

- Extensive experience in building distributed/microservice-style and cloud-based architectures (Amazon, ECS, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes).





- Hands-on experience with RESTful service implementations.

- Experience with rational databases like Oracle, SQLServer.

- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix Shell.

- Experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, Sonar Cube, BitBucket.

- Strong understanding of different storage architectures.

- Experience building modern Spring applications with Spring Boot.

- Experience in software development SDLC (Agile).

- Excellent knowledge of multithreading, thread-pools with strong OOP and OOAD skills.

- Experience in developing real-time low latency applications.

- Exposure to or experience in message-driven architectures, including Kafka, EMS.

Preferred Skills:

- Prior investment banking risk system experience.

- Experience in message broker.

- Exposure to Clojure is a plus.

Educational/Certification Background:

- Graduate/postgraduate with a degree in computer science or mathematics.

- Good communication, presentation, and written skills.
