Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Assist in food preparation and food handling to ensure quality standards are met
- Operate POS system for accurate cashiering and transaction processing
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food prep stations and dining spaces
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Follow food safety protocols and proper hygiene practices to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Skills
- Proven barista experience with knowledge of espresso machines, brewing techniques, and drink customization
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Experience in food service or the food industry, including serving and food preparation
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
