Responsibilities

- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring clarity in communication with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks to customers, ensuring that all orders are delivered promptly and meet quality standards.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the service area.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately while adhering to restaurant policies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during busy service periods.
Skills
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of the hospitality industry.
- Strong customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to engage with guests positively.
- Experience in serving, food preparation, and food service is highly valued.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Barista experience is a plus for establishments offering coffee or specialty beverages.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
