Los Últimos Turistas is a Toronto-based instrumental trio blending Latin rhythms, cumbia, surf rock, psychedelia, and western-inspired sounds.

We're looking for a talented, creative, and committed bass guitarist to join us as a long-term band member.

Our influences include Khruangbin, LA LOM, Hermanos Gutiérrez, Glass Beams, Santana, and Bomba Estéreo.

What we're looking for

- Solid bass technique, groove, rhythm, and musicality.
- Comfortable playing cumbia, surf rock, funk, and Latin-inspired music.
- Ability to learn original compositions and contribute creative ideas.
- Experience playing with a live band.
- Reliable, communicative, and committed to regular rehearsals.
- Interest in recording original music, performing live, and developing a distinctive band sound.

What we're working on
- Developing and recording our original repertoire.
- Releasing music and creating professional audiovisual content.
- Booking live performances throughout Toronto and beyond.




- Building a long-term musical project with a robust artistic identity.

Rehearsals and location We rehearse regularly in Toronto, primarily at Ghost Notes rehearsal studios.

Compensation and collaboration

This is a collaborative band membership rather than a session musician position. Earnings from paid live performances are shared among band members. Rehearsals and other commitments will be discussed transparently before joining.
