Join our energetic culinary team as a Breakfast Cook, where your speed, consistency, and passion for great food will help start our guests’ day off right! In this fast-paced role, you will prepare and cook a variety of breakfast and lunch menu items while maintaining high standards for quality, presentation, and food safety. From eggs and bacon to pancakes, home fries, sandwiches, and other breakfast favourites, you’ll play an important role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly during busy service periods.

This paid position is a great opportunity to build your culinary skills while working alongside a supportive and experienced kitchen team.

Duties

- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items accurately and efficiently
- Cook eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, home fries, sandwiches, and other menu items to order
- Operate flat tops, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, portioning, and measuring as required
- Follow established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout service
- Monitor food temperatures, freshness, and quality to ensure food safety standards are met
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed during busy service periods
- Work closely with servers and other kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with opening, closing, prep, cleaning, and general kitchen duties as required





Qualifications
- Previous breakfast cook, line cook, or restaurant experience required
- Experience working with eggs and breakfast items is considered an asset
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently during busy breakfast rushes
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent food quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple orders at the same time

Kitchen hours

Tuesday to Sunday: 8:30am to 2pm

Must be available on Weekends

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 25.0 per week
