Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and proactive Reception & Sales Representative to join our team.

This position is a combination of reception, customer service, and sales. You do not need to have previous experience with building materials — we can provide product training.

What matters most to us is that you are comfortable talking to people, communicate well, are willing to learn, and can work consistently and responsibly.

We welcome both male and female applicants.

Responsibilities

- Greet and assist walk-in customers.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
- Process customer orders, payments, and checkout on Quickbooks.
- Learn our products and explain basic product information to customers.
- Follow up with customers, quotations, and sales leads.
- Make outbound cold calls to potential customers such as contractors, builders, landscapers, and local businesses.
- Introduce and promote our products to new customers.
- Respond to online inquiries and follow up with potential buyers.
- Post and regularly update products on Facebook Marketplace and other online sales platforms. You will earn a 5% commission on sales to new customers you bring in during the first 30 days after their initial purchase.
- Contact previous customers about new products, promotions, and inventory.
- Be willing to reach out to local businesses, contractors,



or job sites to introduce our company and products when needed.
- Help with general reception, sales, and showroom duties.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Comfortable talking to customers both in person and over the phone.
- Friendly, approachable, and able to carry a conversation naturally.
- Comfortable making cold calls and reaching out to new customers.
- Proactive and willing to look for things to do during slower periods.
- Responsible, reliable, and willing to work consistently.
- Patient and willing to learn.
- Good attitude and robust work ethic.
- Sales or customer service experience is an asset, but not required.
- Building material or construction experience is an asset, but not required.

The Right Person We are not necessarily looking for someone who already knows our products.

We are looking for someone who is good with people, willing to communicate, dependable, and not afraid to take initiative.

During slower periods, we expect this person to stay productive by following up with customers, making calls, posting products online, and looking for new sales opportunities.

Pay: From $18.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
