Building Operator

Location: Downtown Vancouver, BC

What We're Looking For

Warrington PCI Management is seeking a Building Operator to support a portfolio of commercial properties in Downtown Vancouver. This hands-on role is responsible for building maintenance, tenant service, contractor coordination, and ensuring properties are operated safely and efficiently.

Due to security requirements at certain properties, candidates with permanent authorization to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident) are preferred.

What You'll Do

- Perform daily inspections and preventative maintenance of building systems.
- Complete minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and carpentry work.
- Respond to tenant requests and support a positive tenant experience.
- Coordinate contractors and vendors on-site.
- Maintain building logs, maintenance records, and inventory.
- Monitor HVAC, life safety, and other mechanical systems.
- Ensure common areas remain clean, secure, and well maintained.
- Participate in on-call and emergency response duties as required.

What You Bring

- 2+ years of commercial building operations or maintenance experience.
- Experience with HVAC, building automation systems, life safety systems, or related mechanical equipment.
- 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.




- Comfortable using smartphones and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of general building maintenance practices.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities.
- Valid driver's licence is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
