Position Summary The Business Development Consultant plays a key role in supporting franchise partners and driving brand growth within their designated territory. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role acts as the primary point of contact for franchise owners, ensuring they receive guidance on marketing strategies, operational procedures, and customer engagement.

Duties & Responsibilities

Franchise Partner Support

- Conduct weekly calls with franchise partners, addressing concerns and assisting with promotions, menu updates, and operational concerns.

Marketing & Brand Growth

- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement local store strategies, optimize online reviews, and enhance brand visibility.
- Support franchise partners in executing marketing initiatives and strengthening community engagement within their territories.

Operational Excellence

- Perform store visits, audits, and training to ensure compliance with corporate policies, brand standards, and operational procedures.
- Visit stores within the assigned market three (3) days per week, spending approximately three (3) hours at each store and visiting two (2) stores per day.
- Use in-store visits to assess operational performance, identify areas for improvement, provide coaching, and support franchise partners and their teams in maintaining Stacked brand standards.
- Follow up on identified operational issues and work with franchise partners to implement corrective actions where necessary.

Customer Relations & Issue Resolution

- Manage customer feedback, handle complaints, and work with franchise partners to improve overall customer satisfaction.




- Identify recurring customer concerns and recommend strategies to improve the guest experience.

New Store Openings

- Coordinate vendor setup, licensing, staffing, and training for franchise partners launching recent locations.
- Support new franchise partners in preparing for successful store openings and ensuring compliance with brand standards.
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to franchise partners to help improve store performance and operational success.

Requirements

- 2-3 years experience in restaurant operations.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to anticipate and respond to franchise partner needs.
- Highly organized and process oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
- Previous work experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with the practices, routines, and standards followed within the Stacked brand.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a professional demeanour when representing the brand.
- Ability to travel to different locations as required.

Working Conditions

- Eight-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
- Store visits required three days per week, with two stores visited per day and approximately three hours spent at each location.
- Weekend work may be required as needed.
- Regular travel throughout the assigned market.
- Extended periods of computer use and administrative work.
- Flexibility to adjust schedules based on operational needs, franchisee support requirements, and store performance priorities.
