Gestalt Capital is looking for a business development representative to help us find proprietary businesses to acquire.

We are a family-office backed investment group that acquires businesses for long-term holds. Co-founded in 2023, we have made six investments since inception (including co-owning 50 Five Guys franchises across the USA), and are looking to now acquire more businesses.

Who You Are

- Charming, personable, and damn positive on the phone - this is a cold outreach role;
- Good track record talking to business owners, with a preference in blue collar fields;
- Love finance and business, and hustling for business.

What Success Looks Like

- You will build out our deal origination tech stack within one month and begin outreach immediately;
- Within the first year, you will be responsible for sourcing one large platform deal (>$50M EV), and one tuck-in (<$20M EV)



for a portfolio company;
- Within three years, you will be running a team of three, in charge of finding multiple deals per year for the group to acquire.

Salary + Others

- Base at $70k, with OTE targeting double that if you close deals. More if we close more than the 1 platform + 1 tuck-in;
- Hybrid model, but want you in the office 2x / week.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to be part of a group acquiring businesses, wants to run a search fund in the future, or wants to use it as an offramp into a solid MBA program. This is not ideal for someone who hates cold calling or wants to be a PE analyst (that may be a path one day, but certainly not what we're hiring for).
