Summary The Business Unit Manager has operational effectiveness by evaluating business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring alignment between business needs and system capabilities. This role is ideal for a systems thinker who is inquisitive, analytical, and highly collaborative.

While not a traditional technical position, the analyst must be comfortable working within ERP systems, interpreting operational data, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable continuous improvement. Preferred candidates bring light programming or scripting experience to enhance problem-solving, support data validation, and streamline workflow analysis.

Essential Functions

- Lead daily operations to meet production targets in alignment with the Business Unit budget.
- Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory protocols.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks; assess and address skill gaps across the operation.
- Provide hands-on leadership across Quality,



Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, scheduling, and planning functions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, performance management, and operational discipline.
- Lead capital upgrades and efficiency initiatives to improve productivity across overall operations.
- Responsible for achieving budgeted revenue, cost, quality, and delivery performance for the Business Unit.
- Integrate effectively with shared services, including shipping, logistics, and supply chain.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with key external stakeholders, including construction teams, government bodies, and third-party vendors.
- Champion a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and operational excellence.
- Align operational objectives with company growth strategy, customer requirements, and performance goals.
