Duties

- Select, cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat products according to established standards and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the butcher station, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Package meat products efficiently for retail display or wholesale distribution, ensuring freshness and quality preservation
- Assist customers with their selections, answer questions about different cuts of meat, and provide exceptional customer service
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safe storage of all products
- Keep accurate records of inventory levels, product expiration dates,



and sanitation schedules
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales targets and maintain a smooth workflow

Requirements

- Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in butchery or meat preparation
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and hygiene standards
- Skilled in meat cutting techniques and food preparation methods
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience or related culinary background is highly desirable
- Certification or training in food safety is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
