Cabinet Designer / Showroom Assistant

Paradise Cabinets | Full-Time (In Person)

Pay: $21–$27/hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts

At Paradise Cabinets, we design and deliver cabinetry projects that are built to last—and look incredible doing it. We’re looking for a Cabinet Designer / Showroom Assistant with kitchen design experience and AutoCAD skills who enjoys working directly with clients and supporting a busy showroom.

This role blends customer-facing showroom work with real design output. If you can talk design with confidence, translate ideas into layouts, and keep details organized from inquiry to order—this could be a great fit.

What you’ll be doing

· Guide clients through the showroom experience: answering questions, explaining options, helping select finishes

· Build and refine kitchen layouts (and occasional bath designs) based on client needs, space planning, and site constraints

· Produce drawings and documentation using AutoCAD

· Review construction plans, measurements, and site details to support accurate designs

· Assist with coordination and administrative support (orders, invoices, shipments, follow-ups)

· Keep the showroom clean, organized, and presentation-ready

· Optional: contribute to easy marketing/social content that supports showroom traffic

What we’re looking for

· Kitchen design experience (space planning, layout fundamentals,



workflow)

· AutoCAD proficiency (required)

· Ability to read floorplans/construction drawings and work from measurements

· Strong communication skills and comfort working with clients in person and by phone/email

· High attention to detail, organized task management, and follow-through

· Organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities

· Professional, dependable, and cooperative

Assets that help you stand out

· Cabinet Vision and/or SketchUp

· Experience in cabinetry, millwork, building products, or renovations

· Quoting/sales experience (especially in custom or semi-custom cabinetry)

· Solid eye for finishes, color coordination, and material selection
