We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and a passion for creating high-quality millwork. This role involves working with various materials and tools to design, build, and install custom millwork that meet our clients' specifications.
The Cabinet
Maker will collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Enjoy working a 4 day week, Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm with paid lunch/ breaks and a employee lunch once a month.
Hourly rate will be discussed, based off experience.
Duties
- Construct and assemble cabinets using a variety of materials including wood, laminate, and MDF.
- Operate woodworking machinery such as saws, routers, edge band, etc.
- Ensure all cabinetry is built to exact measurements and quality standards.
- Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, or laminating surfaces as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials as necessary
Skills
- Proficiency in woodworking techniques and tools.
- Experience with woodworking machinery is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Type: Full time Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
