Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Supervise daily café operations, including food preparation, serving, and cash handling using Micros POS or similar systems
- Lead and motivate a team of servers and kitchen staff to deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee food safety procedures, proper food handling, and sanitation standards to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage staff scheduling, interviewing potential team members, and providing training to foster a cohesive team environment
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and accurate order delivery
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly,



and create a positive dining experience for all guests
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including front-of-house and kitchen spaces, adhering to safety protocols

Skills

- Extensive experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality environments with a focus on café or similar settings
- Proven supervising or team management experience with strong leadership skills
- Proficiency in POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms for order processing and cash handling
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food industry standards including bartending or barista skills is a plus; hotel experience also beneficial
