Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Cake Decorator/Baker to join our vibrant culinary team! Duties

- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, , following established recipes and quality standards
- Decorate cakes and desserts with intricate designs, themes, and personalized touches to meet customer specifications
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the bakery area
- Assist customers by providing product recommendations, answering questions about ingredients or customization options, and offering exceptional customer service
- Package baked goods securely for display or takeout, maintaining presentation quality during handling and transportation




- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients; communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to health codes and safety protocols at all times

Skills

- Proficiency in cake decorating techniques such as piping, fondant work, airbrushing, and sculpting
- Experience working in a restaurant or bakery environment with knowledge of food preparation and cooking methods
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients and team members
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience involving food industry best practices for baking, packaging, and presentation
- Familiarity with food industry regulations related to hygiene, safety, and allergen management
