Join our vibrant team as a Cake Decorator/Baker. In this role, you will assemble beautiful, delicious cakes, choux pastry and tarts, Your expertise in food preparation, decorating, and baking will be essential in delivering high-quality products with flair and precision. Duties

- Prepare a variety of baked goods including cakes, pastries, and desserts from scratch
- Decorate cakes using various piping tips and other decorative techniques to meet shop specifications
- Prepare pastry creams, fruit curds, buttercream, frostings and chantilly.
- Ensure all baked items meet quality standards, presentation guidelines, and food safety regulations
- Handle food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, portioning, and assembling baked goods efficiently
- Package finished products carefully for display or customer pickup, maintaining product integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery station, adhering to sanitation protocols at all times




- Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supply needs

Skills

- Proven experience in cake decorating and baking within a restaurant or food service environment
- Solid knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Excellent food preparation skills with an eye for detail and presentation aesthetics
- Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Kitchen experience in a fast-paced setting that emphasizes teamwork and efficiency

Basic knowledge of packaging techniques to ensure products remain fresh and visually appealing during transport or display Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 32.0 per week
