About the Job

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Camp Cook to prepare meals for crew members at a remote logging camp. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently in a remote environment and keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly.

Responsibilities

- Prepare breakfast, lunch, supper, and snacks as required for camp personnel.
- Plan menus and prepare meals for the number of crew members on site.
- Order, receive, store, and monitor food supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and safe food storage procedures.
- Monitor food inventory and minimize waste.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Work independently and manage meal preparation according to the camp schedule.

Qualifications





- Previous cooking experience required; camp cooking or commercial kitchen experience is an asset.
- Ability to plan and prepare meals for a crew.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable living and working in a remote camp environment.
- Valid driver's licence is an asset.
