Responsibilities

- Support residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility and transfer activities, including heavy lifting when necessary, to ensure safety and comfort
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication activities diligently
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by assisting with light cleaning duties in residents’ rooms and common areas




- Observe and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior to healthcare professionals promptly

Skills

- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on dementia, hospice, or disability care preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when required
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Compassionate caregiving attitude with patience, empathy, and respect for individual needs
- Basic understanding of cleaning routines and maintaining hygiene standards in care settings
