Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Carpenter/Lead Hand to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will lead by example on job sites, overseeing carpentry projects from start to finish while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Your expertise in various construction disciplines will drive successful project completion and foster a collaborative work environment.

Duties

- Lead and supervise carpentry crews, assigning tasks and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide project execution
- Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, cabinet fitting, flooring, tile laying, siding, roofing, and siding installation
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless workflow and timely project delivery

Skills

- Proficient in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation,



and technical drawings
- Skilled in woodworking, cabinetry installation, flooring setup, tile laying, siding application, and general carpentry practices
- Robust knowledge of construction painting, caulking, rebar installation, plumbing basics, electrical fundamentals, and HVAC systems as needed
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment safely and effectively
- Demonstrated handyman experience with assembly tasks and general maintenance skills
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining a focus on safety standards and quality control
