Duties
- Diagnose hardware and software issues on various mobile devices, including Android and iOS platforms
- Repair or replace faulty components such as screens, batteries, charging ports, and internal circuitry using hand tools and schematics
- Troubleshoot operating systems (Android, iOS, macOS, Windows) to resolve software conflicts or malfunctions
- Conduct analysis of device problems through detailed inspection and testing procedures
- Assist customers with retail sales by explaining repair options and recommending device upgrades or accessories
- Use technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes of device failures
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed,
parts used, and troubleshooting steps taken to ensure quality control
Qualifications
- Proven experience repairing mobile devices with knowledge of Android and iOS operating systems
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and software troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read schematics and use hand tools effectively for delicate repairs
- Strong analysis skills to identify issues quickly and accurately
- Experience working with retail sales environments is a plus
- Knowledge of macOS and Windows operating systems enhances troubleshooting capabilities
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to customers
