We are looking to add passionate, dedicated individuals to our coaching team. Flight Athletics provides cheerleading, tumbling and ninja classes in Cold Lake to ages 18 months and up, as well as birthday parties, camps and other events.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

-Cheerleading/Tumbling coach

-Ninja coach

-Event staff (birthday parties, open gym, camps)

The position is casual/part-time with the opportunity to increase hours once trained.

- Provide instruction and guidance to athletes on proper technique, stunts, jumps, and tumbling
- Plan and organize team practices, including warm-ups, conditioning exercises, and skill-building drills
- Attend cheerleading competitions and events (team coaches only)
- Foster a positive and supportive team environment, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship
- Ensure the safety of cheerleaders during practices and performances by enforcing proper safety protocols
- Shifts are evenings and weekends

`Skills:`

- Strong knowledge of cheerleading techniques, including stunts, jumps, tumbling, and dance is an asset, however training can be provided to the right applicant




- Applicants must thoroughly enjoy being around children of all ages
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate athletes
- Strong organizational skills to plan both individual classes and long-term development of athletes
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of individuals in a team setting

`Qualifications:`

- Must have a clean criminal record and vulnerable sector check
- Must have or be willing to obtain Standard First Aid/CPR
- Must have or be willing to obtain NCCP Protected Sport Training, NCCP Making Headway in Sport, NCCP Make Ethical Decisions and NCCP Planning a Practice
- Must have or be willing to obtain ICU Novice Credentialing

Hourly wage is determined based on experience of the applicant. Note: This is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour
