Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of authentic Indo Chinese dishes with precision and creativity
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and timely service
- Manage food handling procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards
- Oversee the entire food service process, from ingredient sourcing to plating, maintaining consistency in flavor and presentation
- Lead team management efforts by training new staff, assigning tasks, and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health regulations
- Assist in restaurant management duties such as inventory control, ordering supplies, and monitoring food costs




- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety

Qualifications

- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hospitality setting, specifically with Indo Chinese cuisine preferred
- Supervising experience in a busy kitchen environment demonstrating strong leadership skills
- Solid understanding of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
- Excellent knowledge of the food industry trends related to Indo Chinese dishes and culinary techniques
- Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
