Childsplace is looking to recruit a dedicated person to take over driving kids to and from school during the school year. All hours in the BAS program are eligible for wage top up from the government if you possess a child care level.

You will be in charge of driving daily, using a mini van (5 seats) supplied by Childsplace. As well, cooking and prepping snacks and lunch, and subbing when needed in the room with the kids (both BAS and daycare) if needed.

Driving shifts are Monday and Wednesday 815-1045/1130-1245/245-430pm; Tuesday and Thursday 815-1045/1130-1245/245-4pm; Fridays are 815-345pm (Fridays change a bit due to school being off early). Subbing hours are outside of driving times. Schedule will be discussed as there are times of breaks between school pick ups and drop offs.

A qualified candidate will possess the following:





-Child Development Assistant certification or higher (level 1, 2 or 3)

-class 4 or 5 drivers licence needed

-first aid and cpr needed

-police check (MUST be dated within last 6 months)

-flexibilty to have shifts change (sometimes parents pick up their kids or kids are sick--sometimes last minute changes happen!)

-ability to navigate a vehicle safely and report all issues promptly

-experience with children is a bonus!!!

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
