Childcare experience is required for this position.

This is an on-call position with variable hours, ranging from 0 to 37.5 hours per week, depending on operational requirements and scheduling needs. Hours of work may vary and are not guaranteed on a weekly basis.

The Working with Others approach recognizes the importance of relationships as key to providing a safe, secure and accessible learning setting for all children. Its training and support for teachers is guided by 4 fundamental areas.

Rate of Pay

RECE $20.95 regular, $1.00 GOG and $2.00 ENH. $3.00 annual Increase

NON RECE $19.21 regular, $.60 GOG and $2.00 ENH

QUALIFICATIONS:

- RECE in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (not required)
- A diploma or school in a child related field
- Childcare experience

MINISTRY REQUIREMENTS:

- 2 Step TB Skin Test
- Updated Immunizations (DPTP, MMR)
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
