Now Hiring: Construction Estimator

Accurate Industries | Full-Time Position

Accurate Industries is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating, with civil construction experience preferred.

We are looking for someone who understands construction operations, can accurately assess project costs, and takes pride in preparing competitive, reliable estimates.

Key Responsibilities

- Review project drawings, specifications, tender documents, and bid packages.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project expenses.
- Perform material calculations.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing.
- Identify project risks, potential cost savings, and areas requiring clarification.
- Prepare and submit competitive bids and tender proposals within required deadlines.
- Communicate with project managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with project budgets, cost tracking, and estimating documentation.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, pricing, and tender submissions.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in construction estimating or a related construction role.




- Civil construction experience is preferred, particularly earthworks, site preparation, excavation, underground utilities, grading, or road construction.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- A construction-related diploma or equivalent industry experience is an asset.
