Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
Campbell River, BC | Full-time | $70,000–$90,000/year
Build Your Engineering Career on Vancouver Island
WWK Engineering is a majority First Nations-owned civil engineering firm, proudly partnered with the We Wai Kai Nation. Based in Campbell River, we work with First Nations communities, municipalities, land developers and contractors throughout Vancouver Island and coastal BC.
We are looking for a Civil Engineer-in-Training to join our small but growing team. At WWK, you won't be limited to one small part of a project. You'll have opportunities to work from concept and design through tendering and construction, gaining hands-on experience while working directly with Qualified Engineers, clients and contractors.
Joining WWK also provides an opportunity to contribute to reconciliation in action. As a majority First Nations-owned engineering company, our growth helps strengthen Indigenous participation, ownership and capacity within the engineering and infrastructure sectors. This is complemented by our work directly with First Nations communities, helping deliver housing, water, wastewater, transportation, land development and other essential infrastructure that supports community priorities and long-term growth.
Why Campbell River?
Build your career where other people come to vacation.
Campbell River puts the outdoors right at your doorstep. With the ocean, mountains, lakes and forests just minutes away, adventure is part of everyday life. Spend the morning fishing or boating, hit the trails for a hike or mountain bike ride, head to the slopes in winter, or set out camping and exploring the incredible landscapes of Vancouver Island.
Here, you can enjoy an active, outdoor lifestyle without the long commutes, traffic and congestion of a major city. Many of our projects are close to home, giving you the opportunity to see the infrastructure you design actually being built in the communities around you.
