I am therefore looking for an engineer who can take responsibility for the engineering portion of the project from design through to City approval.The scope would include:





- Reviewing the existing front of the building and proposed changes- Providing the necessary engineering design for the front entrance and concrete stairs- Preparing qualified drawings/plans suitable for submission to the City- Signing and sealing/certifying the plans as required- Ensuring the design complies with applicable building codes and City requirements- Making any necessary revisions requested by the City- Working with me through the approval process until the plans are acceptedI am looking for someone who has experience with residential or small commercial building renovations, exterior concrete structures, stairs/steps, and municipal permit requirements in Montreal.I have not yet established a fixed budget for the engineering work and would appreciate receiving a quote based on the scope.
