Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced School Bus Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a School Bus for student transportation while maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, minimal mechanical knowledge, and the ability to navigate various routes. Duties

- Safely operate School Buses across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload students, ensuring proper procedures and safety measures met
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation and logs in compliance with company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, regarding run times and any issues encountered during transit
- Assist with minor mechanical troubleshooting when necessary, utilizing mechanical knowledge to ensure vehicle functionality




- Provide exceptional customer service by representing the company professionally during service
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road

Experience

- Prior experience with commercial driving and route navigation is a bonus
- Experience working with children is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for accurate reporting and customer interactions
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must hold a valid Class 2 License with School Bus certificate if wanting to do a school run
