Client Service Technician – Home Oxygen

MedPro Respiratory Care is the primary provider of home oxygen services in British Columbia. We are currently seeking a Client Service Technician (CST) to join our Vancouver Island team in a 5-month contract position, with the potential for extension.

This is a field-based position supporting clients living with a variety of respiratory conditions. The successful candidate will travel to clients' homes to deliver, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain home oxygen equipment while providing professional and compassionate customer service.

Please note: This is not an administrative or office-based position. We are seeking a hands-on field technician who is comfortable driving, working independently, entering clients' homes, and handling medical equipment.

Position Details

- 37.5 hours per week
- Tuesday - Saturday
- 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Starting wage: $23.00/hour
- 5-month contract with the potential for extension
- Additional hours and overtime may be available
- Participation in a paid evening and weekend on-call rotation is required
- When scheduled on call, coverage may be required throughout Vancouver Island in accordance with company policy

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver, install, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on home oxygen equipment, including the delivery and handling of oxygen cylinders. This position primarily serves the South Island region but may occasionally provide support in other areas of Vancouver Island.
- Educate clients on the safe and appropriate use of their equipment
- Provide skilled and compassionate service to clients in their homes
- Complete required documentation accurately and efficiently
- Respond to service calls and equipment-related concerns
- Participate in the scheduled on-call rotation





What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, technically minded, and comfortable working independently. You should be able to adapt to changing priorities and enjoy working directly with clients in the community. Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be willing to learn, and be comfortable taking direction while also using good judgment in the field.

Requirements

- Valid driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract
- Comfortable driving for extended periods and throughout the region
- Physically capable of lifting and moving medical equipment weighing up to 70 lbs
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing daily priorities
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to participate in the required on-call rotation
- Experience in healthcare, home care, technical service, delivery, or customer service is considered an asset
