CNC Machinist Wanted

Maurice Mechanical Services Ltd. is a leading designer and manufacturer of automated assembly equipment for clients in the automotive industry and beyond. MMSL has been building automated equipment in Penetanguishene for over 30 years. We are currently searching for a CNC Machinist to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.

The CNC Machinist position involves reading, interpreting part drawings that have been designed by our in-house team. We use Fusion 360 to write code as well as some manual programming on Haas Machining Centers. You will be responsible for cutting your own stock and ensuring parts are machined within the tolerance allowed. Communication with the design team is important to ensure parts being made are as intended. Parts are typically unique or low volume, not a mass production type atmosphere.

This position requires a minimum 3+ years of CNC Machining experience. Knowledge of Fusion 360 is also an asset. Wages will be based on experience.

Skills required

· Read blueprints

· Adept at using a Haas Control and CNC equipment

· Solid understanding of machine shop safety

· Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non technical people

· Able to measure and verify parts are within tolerance

· Knowledge of Fusion 360 preferred, Mastercam or similar an asset
