Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC Punch Press and CNC Break Press, ensuring proper calibration and alignment based on technical drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to produce precise parts
- Conduct routine inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Perform basic maintenance on CNC equipment, including tool changes and troubleshooting machine issues
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling power tools, lifting equipment, and other manufacturing tools
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by maintaining organized workstations and minimizing waste during production

Skills

- Proficiency in CNC programming with experience in Radan control systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints accurately




- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or general CAD tools for design interpretation is considered an asset.
- Ability to use precision measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges effectively
- Operational knowledge of processes involving CNC Punch Press machines and CNC Break Press is required.
- Experience with assembly, and the use of hand tools for finishing parts
- Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances
- Understanding of manufacturing principles including lean manufacturing practices
- Ability to operate forklifts safely when required for material handling
