​Custodian Service Industries Inc. provides top-tier commercial janitorial services to high-profile facilities, corporate offices, and industrial sites across Greater Sudbury. We are currently seeking a reliable, independent, and hard-working professional to join our operations team for 15 to 25 hours per week, with a clear opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and reliability.

​The Role

​This is a straightforward, no-nonsense position for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, and executes the job without needing to be micromanaged. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of various commercial sites, working both independently and alongside management. Prior experience in the janitorial field is strongly preferred; however, if you do not have prior commercial cleaning experience, we will train the right candidate properly to Custodian Service Industries Inc. standards.

We utilize modern digital tracking systems, so accountability and integrity are non-negotiable.

​Key Responsibilities

​Execute comprehensive cleaning protocols, including mopping, vacuuming, waste removal, and sanitization of high-traffic commercial and industrial areas.

​Complete all assigned tasks efficiently within the allocated shift time.

​Clock in and out of designated job sites accurately using our GPS and geofenced scheduling software.

​Document site conditions and submit all operational reports or maintenance issues directly through the company app.

​Work independently to hit strict quality standards without requiring constant oversight.

​Maintain professional boundaries and adhere strictly to the established chain of command for all operational directives.

​Qualifications & Requirements

​Bondable & Clean Record:



Must be bondable and have no criminal record (a criminal background check is required due to the nature of our high-profile commercial and corporate client sites).

​Driver's License & Motor Vehicle: Must possess a valid driver’s license and your own reliable motor vehicle to travel between job sites in the Greater Sudbury area.

​Experience & Training: Prior experience in the janitorial or commercial cleaning field is preferred. Candidates without prior experience who demonstrate a strong work ethic will be trained properly to Custodian Service Industries Inc. standards.

​Schedule Availability: Must be available to work weekday evenings (starting at or after 6:00 PM) and weekend shifts (starting at or after 2:00 PM), for 15 to 25 hours per week.

​Reliability & Integrity: Unwavering reliability and honesty; time theft, lingering on site, or misrepresentation of completed work is grounds for immediate termination.

​Tech Comfort: Comfortable utilizing mobile applications for time-tracking, QR asset scanning, and task management.

​Physical Capability: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting, bending, and operating commercial cleaning equipment.
