With more than 120 service trucks on the road, we field a large volume of calls every day from people all over the Lower Mainland that need our help with their plumbing, drainage, heating and air conditioning service.
As our company continues to grow, we need to add more people to our award-winning team! We are seeking a full time Commercial Sourcing Specialist to help meet the needs of our customers. We are looking to fill this position immediately.
Duties
- Source, purchase, and track plumbing, heating, and air conditioning parts and materials.
- Obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Coordinate deliveries to ensure timely arrival of parts for scheduled jobs.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock essential items as needed.
- Verify and process purchase orders and invoices accurately.
- Work with warehouse and dispatch teams to resolve supply issues quickly.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, improved processes,
and better supplier performance.
Requirements
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory coordination.
- Basic understanding of plumbing or HVAC materials is an asset
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
