Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware components such as motherboards, hard drives, RAM, and peripherals using hand tools and schematics.
- Diagnose software problems across operating systems including Windows and macOS, providing timely solutions to restore optimal performance.
- Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of mobile devices on Android and iOS platforms for retail sales environments.
- Conduct analysis of system errors or malfunctions to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
- Assist with the installation of new hardware or software updates, ensuring compatibility across multiple operating systems.




- Use schematics and technical manuals to repair or upgrade computer systems efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, troubleshooting steps, and inventory of tools and parts used during service.

Skills

- Proficiency in working with various operating systems including Windows and macOS.
- Strong knowledge of mobile devices on Android and iOS platforms.
- Experience with retail sales environments is a plus, especially in supporting point-of-sale hardware.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex hardware issues.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, anti-static wrist straps for hardware repairs.
- Excellent analysis skills to identify issues quickly and accurately diagnose problems with computer hardware or software.
- Familiarity with software troubleshooting techniques across multiple operating systems.
