Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing, masonry, and related trades, with the ability to work efficiently on various projects including restoration, renovation, and new construction. This role requires hands-on expertise in concrete forming, finishing techniques, and the operation of power tools and hand tools.

The Concrete

Finisher will play a vital part in delivering high-quality finished surfaces for commercial and residential projects, ensuring safety, precision, and durability.

Responsibilities

- Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces to meet project specifications.
- Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics to prepare for concrete pouring.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and effectively during various phases of construction.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute exact work.
- Execute masonry tasks such as caulking, flooring installation, and restoration work as needed.
- Assist with concrete pouring, setting forms, and applying finishing techniques such as troweling and edging.
- Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and installing materials related to concrete work.
- Collaborate with team members on project timelines, safety protocols,



and quality standards.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining safety standards on-site.
- Conduct repairs or modifications during renovation projects using welding or carpentry skills when required.

Requirements

- Proven experience in concrete finishing, masonry, or related construction fields.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to concrete work including formwork installation and rebar placement.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely along with hand tools and power tools used in concrete finishing.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding technical drawings.
- Experience with caulking, flooring installation, welding, masonry work, restoration projects, and renovation processes is preferred.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols is essential.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with flooring installation or concrete forming is advantageous.
