About KPLEX
KPLEX is a Toronto-based real estate development company focused on multiplex residential development, leveraging the EHON policy framework and CMHC financing programs. This represents one of the fastest-growing and most dynamic segments of Toronto’s housing market.
The company currently has 30 active projects in its development pipeline, representing approximately $60M in construction value. Our strategy is centered on building a high-quality, repeatable development platform for multiplex housing across Toronto, with an expected annual addition of ~$30M in construction value from in-house projects alone.
We are building a lean, high-performance team and are seeking a Construction Manager to lead project execution and play a foundational role in scaling the company’s construction platform.
This is a unique prospect to join a high-growth platform at an early stage and help shape both development and construction operations.
Position Overview The Construction Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end construction execution of multiple low-rise residential projects in the GTA.
The ideal candidate has substantial hands-on experience delivering Part 9 residential buildings, particularly multiplex, infill, townhouse, or similar low-rise wood-frame residential projects.

- Identify potential cost overruns and implement practical corrective measures to keep expenditures aligned with the approved development budget and pro forma
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and construction milestones, including critical path activities
- Monitor progress against approved schedules and hold contractors and trades accountable for agreed milestones
- Identify potential delays early and develop recovery plans where projects fall behind schedule
Consultant & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate consultant inspections, testing, building permits, municipal inspections, occupancy, deficiencies, and project turnover
- Ensure consultants respond to RFIs, site conditions, and construction issues in a timely manner and provide required information
- Coordinate interactions with Toronto Building, Urban Forestry, Toronto Water, Toronto Hydro, and other authorities as required
- Maintain clear communication between development, construction, design, and accounting teams, and provide regular reporting on project costs, schedules, risks, and key milestones
