Toronto
We are growing—and this is your opportunity to join their team as a Construction Project Coordinator.
LPRM is looking for a practical, highly organized Construction Project Coordinator to support residential renovation, repair, and capital maintenance projects across Toronto and the GTA. Part office, part field, this role is ideal for someone who understands how residential projects come together and is comfortable both on a job site and managing the details at a computer. You’ll work with experienced project managers to coordinate the details, move projects forward, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
What You'll Do
- Visit project sites and meet contractors and trades
- Take measurements, photographs and detailed site notes
- Prepare and update scopes of work
- Obtain, review and follow up on contractor quotations
- Coordinate and schedule trades
- Arrange site access with clients and trades
- Track materials, deliveries and outstanding items
- Prepare work orders and purchase orders
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- Track project changes and deficiencies through completion
- Provide routine updates to the project team
- Follow up with contractors until outstanding items are resolved
What We're Looking For Ideally, you have 3–7 years of experience in residential renovations, construction, property repairs, general contracting, or project coordination. You understand basic construction terminology and sequencing and are comfortable working with trades.
You’re also highly organized and comfortable on a computer. From documenting site visits and requesting quotes to following up with contractors and tracking outstanding items, you understand that paperwork is part of the job.
Organization and Follow-Through In this role, strong organization and computer skills are essential. Following each site visit, you will be expected to:
- File photographs and record detailed notes
- Request quotes and follow up with contractors
- Update schedules and project documentation
- Track outstanding items through to completion
We are looking for someone who naturally closes the loop every time, all the time.
You Should Have
- Practical residential construction knowledge
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Comfort with email, spreadsheets and project documentation
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and ownership of a reliable, roadworthy vehicle for regular travel throughout Toronto and the GTA.
You will have experienced people available for guidance and larger technical decisions. We need someone practical enough to understand construction, organized enough to manage the details, and disciplined enough to follow things through until the job is done. This is not a building superintendent or handyman position. About Landlord Property and Rental Management
