Registered Nurse Psychiatric in Dover, DE

Sage GroupHealthCare Staffing is seeking Psychiatric Registered Nurses for multiple travel /contract positions in Dover, DE. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Location: Dover, Delaware

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full time, Travel, Contract, Temporary

Contract Length: 16 weeks - Accepting Local and Travel Candidates

Pay Rate: Range $2160 Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I; stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Shift Timings: 12 hour shifts, Nights, 7p-7:30a

Schedule: 36 hours/week, 12 hour shifts, 3 shifts per week including every other weekend and holidays rotation

Position Requirements

- 2+years of Recent/Current Inpatient Acute Psychiatric Nursing experience
- Comfortableand willing to work with adolescents, adults patient population
- Float to Adult and Adolescent units
- Must have experience with Paper charting

Education, License and Certification Requirements

- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highlypreferred




- RN License for the state or compact if applicable - Required
- HWC Certification - Preferred
- BLS Certification from AHA- Required

- Provide all aspects ofPsychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned psych units.
- Provide care for inpatient adult and adolescent units
- Provide and coordinate care byassessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
- Develop and implement nursingcare plans.
- Responsible forassessment, diagnosis, planning andestablishing outcomes, implementation, and evaluation.
- Accurately and promptlyimplements physicians’ orders.
- Prepares, administers, andrecords medications in accordance with the policy regarding theadministration of medications.
- Records information concisely,accurately and completely.
- Participates in multidisciplinarytreatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
