Pay Rate:Range $1400 to $1400 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxabletravel/housing and M&I; stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Inpatient mental health or behavioral health unit/s

Shift: 12 Hours; Days, 7a – 7.30p

Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, Every other weekend

Position Requirements

- LPN experience: 2 years - Required
- Recent/Current Inpatient PsychiatricNursing or Behavioral health experience: 2 years – Required

Education, Licenseand Certification Requirements

- LPN License for State of MI - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA orAmerican Red Cross - Required





- Assessesperson’s served care needs, under guidance and in collaboration with aninterdisciplinary team
- Provides/coordinates nursing care toindividuals and groups of person’s served.
- Assistsin the teaching of persons’ served families, and provides milieu management.
- Communicateswith and educates persons’ served families/significant others indischarge/after care planning needs.
- Providesa protected and secure environment for persons served and staff in both individualand group settings.
- Responsiblefor documenting, reporting, and verifying all necessary information accordingto established policies and procedures.
- Responsibleto monitor for and report to the physician(s) any potential risk to person’sserved safety that could lead to an adverse outcome.
- Provides care in various clinical settings withdiverse person’s served populations. Identifies specific person’s served needsand implements person’s served centered, compassionate care.
