Sage GroupHealthCare Staffing is seeking Travel Registered Nurse (Med Surg, Float ) for travel / contract position in Pontiac, MI. Accepting both local and travelercandidates.

Pay Rate:Range $1872 to $2052 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxabletravel/housing and M&I; stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Med Surg,

Shift: 12 Hours; Nights, 7p-7.30a

Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend

Position Requirements:

- Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
- Med Surg Nursing experience:Recent/Current 2 years – Required
- Willing to float to similar units– Required
- Prior travel or contractassignment experience – Required

Education, Licenseand Certification Requirements:

- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- BSN or an equivalent – Highlypreferred
- RN License for State of MI - Required




- BLS Certifications from AHA- Required
- ACLS Certification from AHA –Preferred

:

- Provide all aspects of Nursing care forpatients in Med Surg and float to similar units.
- Establishes a therapeutic relationship andcreates a detailed plan of care with the patient and family, mutuallydetermining the aspects of care which are most important.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of plans andinterventions to promote optimum achievement of established goals. Initiatesand maintains open communication with other members of the team to assure thatthe patient and family receive the full scope of interdisciplinary expertiseand services with a coordinated and integrated plan of care.
- Communicates with patients, families,subordinate staff and peers to ensure that plans and associated interventionsare understood, operationalized and revised, as appropriate.
- Implementsnursing actions in accordance with established standards of nursing practiceand established policy.
