This position must be based in Montreal. During the first month, the successful candidate is expected to work onsite four to five days per week.

The Contracts & Commercial Management Business Partner works closely with the Subcontractor Contract Management team and managers across various Business Units to coordinate activities related to the effective management of subcontractor contracts.

- Act as a resource for managers throughout the subcontractor onboarding process, particularly regarding the execution of CGI's standard agreement.
- Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, Recruitment, and other stakeholders to address contracting-related requirements and questions.
- Assess incoming requests, identify issues requiring further review, and escalate matters appropriately when needed.
- Manage multiple priorities and requests while applying sound judgment to determine urgency and appropriate next steps.
- Support team members with ad hoc requests and contribute to effective collaboration across the team.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of processes and ways of working.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

- Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position. The successful candidate will regularly collaborate with colleagues and business stakeholders across Canada in both official languages.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and precisely with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
- Strong sense of urgency combined with the judgment to assess and prioritize competing requests.
- Experience working successfully in a results-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage and de-escalate challenging situations with tact and professionalism.
- Strong active-listening skills and the ability to understand business needs, challenges, and issues.
- Adaptability, composure, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a changing environment.
- Strong interest in teamwork and customer service.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Flexibility regarding working hours.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Robust interest in continuous learning and professional development.
