Reporting directly to the President & CEO, this is a hands-on leadership role for a finance professional who combines solid technical expertise with business judgment, initiative and influence. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, anticipates issues, recommends solutions and continuously looks for ways to strengthen and improve the Finance function.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
You will oversee the full Finance & Accounting function, including responsibility for:
- Oversee, review and ensure the integrity of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting;

- Analyze gross profit, margins and profitability by business line;
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and ensure appropriate segregation of duties;
- Oversee year-end activities and coordinate audits,
tax matters and financial compliance activities falling within the Finance function;
- Improve financial systems, reporting tools, processes and automation;
- Take ownership of and lead the Finance-side migration from the Company’s current MSO system to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including requirements definition, process review and optimization, data validation, testing, implementation and adoption of the new system;
- Develop financial models and analyses to support decisions related to pricing, investments, new initiatives and strategic priorities;
- Develop and enhance financial dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs);
- Lead, coach and support the Finance team; and
- Provide financial guidance and decision support to the President & CEO and the management team.
What We’re Looking For
- CPA designation;
- 5–8+ years of progressive Finance and Accounting experience, including experience as a Assistant Controller, Finance Manager or in a comparable role;
- Strong technical accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills;
- Experience with cash management, treasury and financial controls;
- Advanced Excel skills and strong accounting and/or ERP systems experience;
- Experience leading,
coaching or developing Finance or Accounting employees;
- Professional fluency in both French and English;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; and
- High integrity, sound judgment and attention to detail.
Most importantly, you are proactive, hands-on and influential. You take ownership without requiring constant direction, anticipate issues and bring forward solutions. You are comfortable constructively challenging existing practices and influencing decisions through sound financial analysis and business judgment. You communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders and build effective relationships across departments.
