Brockville Full time $25.75/hour - $27.01/hour Competition 2026-84

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education in a related field is preferable; extensive knowledge and experience would be considered.
- Food preparation techniques, methods and procedures.
- Current Food Handlers Certification.
- Knowledge of nutrition and basic understanding of chemical dependency and its impact on the health and nutritional needs of our clients.
- Experience using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, food service management e-mail, and Internet.
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector police records check required.
- A valid Ontario Driver’s License, access to a vehicle, and vehicle insurance with a minimum of $2,000,000 liability.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification.

Skills and Abilities:

- Math skills and the ability to apply them to Microsoft excel for the purpose of calculating costs,



tracking expenses, creating visuals that demonstrate the effect of changes in spending.
- Ability to work independently and interdependently.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Demonstrated crisis intervention skills/experience and ability to respond to crisis situations as they arise.
- Ability to travel between residential treatment facilities regularly.
- Ability to reach, bend and stoop frequently, work in a standing position for extended periods of time, and lift/move up to 20 Kgs.
