Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring ingredients are ready and dishes are assembled efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Support chefs with cooking tasks, following safety and food handling protocols to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Ensure proper food handling and storage practices to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination
- Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by providing friendly guest services and assisting with meal delivery when needed
- Support cash handling procedures accurately during transactions and maintain detailed records of sales
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of kitchen operations preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining high hygiene standards
- Knowledge of hospitality practices including serving, cashiering, and guest interaction
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in a quick-paced setting
